IN THE HEIGHTS!

I am so fortunate to have seen this play. It was truly spectacular and Jordan Sparks(Nina) was wonderful! I loved her role and I felt connected to her character. Through Abuela Claudia I learned about pacienca y fe(patience and faith). This play felt like home to me and I related so well with the feel of the play. I learned some new spanish words as well. The cultural theme of this play is well represented. For all those who have yet to see it, please do!!!

Harlem Nights Contest: My Inspiration...

Isn't she truly fabulous. A true lady of her time and a wonderful voice, I love singers like this. Same as ella fitzgerald truly a time period to be missed musically. Hopefully I win this contest hosted by thebronzegoddess01. She's youtuber i discovered when I was trying to find something to do with my hair. She guided me and along with her marvelous personality i fell in love with her. Truly a joy to watch perhaps someday when my channel is a little more well known we can be youtube buddies!! XOXO

THANK GOD 4 MOMMA'S FOOD!

All right we all know that campus food is never the best. It's pretty gross and hella untrustable, but for the money you pay to go 2 the school you damn sure gonna eat it. My stomach is trained off my momma's food. We ate healthy in her house, veggies every day, turkey meat all time, 1 FRICCN STARCH! It sounds like torture i know, but i'm healthy. My stomach can't take this re-warmed college food i can't eat certain things. I'm starting to learn what i can and can't eat...then i remembered what my moms did for me the day i left. She cooked all my favs and packed em away for me...that was my breakfast and will be my breakfast again!! YUM 2 HOMEMADE (not that craft crap ya'll know) mac and cheese, string beans, candied yams, and turkey meatloaf!
